About the role
In this role, you will lead and oversee the short- and long-term liquidity planning across all legal BayWa r.e. entities and regions. You will contribute to driving the alignment between direct and indirect cash flow forecasts, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reporting frameworks. You will act as the central coordinator for forecast assumptions and inputs across local entities, business segments, and corporate functions.
What you will do
You will lead and manage the bi-weekly short-term and monthly long-term cash flow forecasting cycles, including coordinating data submissions, consolidating inputs, and performing detailed variance analyses.
You will prepare and present treasury reports and liquidity insights to executive management, shareholders, and banking partners, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.
You will drive digitalization initiatives within liquidity planning and reporting processes, taking ownership of related projects to enhance efficiency and data quality.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Controlling, Accounting, and Business Segments to continuously improve forecast accuracy and integrate financial planning with strategic decision-making.
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate treasury, liquidity management, or asset management.
Strong understanding of forecasting processes, financial instruments and treasury systems.
Proficiency in Treasury Management Systems (preferably FIS Quantum) and advanced reporting/analytics tools.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment.
