to overview

‘Confidence’ and ‘growth’ in the French renewable energy sector is the message from BayWa r.e. at this year’s Forum EnerGaïa, 14-15 December, where the company will showcase its portfolio of services and products for the wind and solar sector at stand E17, Hall B5.

As well as meeting the BayWa r.e. team, visitors to the stand will be able to find out more about the new novotegra solar mounting system and BayWa r.e.’s advanced online photovoltaic planning tool Solar-Planit. BayWa r.e.’s experts will also be on hand to discuss partnership opportunities in wind and solar development, construction and operation.

"The Programmation Pluriannuelle de l'Energie has put in place new targets for the amount of renewable energy France will generate by 2023”, commented Matthias Taft, Board Member of BayWa AG, responsible for the energy business. “BayWa r.e.’s depth of experience and expertise in renewable energy, from around the world, makes us an ideal partner who is able to offer expert advice, products and services to support our customers. With further Government initiatives to support renewable energy anticipated in 2017, we are excited about the future of the market in France and to be welcoming visitors to our stand at this year’s Forum EnerGaïa.”

BayWa r.e. is active around the world as a specialist in the consulting, development, engineering, funding, turnkey construction and operation management of wind and solar plants. It is also one of the largest system suppliers in the European wholesale photovoltaic market.

The company has already installed and commissioned five wind farms in France, totalling 74 MW of power, and currently manages the technical and commercial management of 200 MW of wind and solar power plants on the French market. Further sales of windfarms are in progress and construction has begun on three new windfarms totalling 54 MW.
